Inspired by the original 1936 anti-drug propaganda film of the same name, REEFER MADNESS takes a delightfully funny and not-so-serious look at the hysteria caused when clean-cut kids fall prey to marijuana, leading them on a hysterical downward spiral filled with death, destruction, and… jazz. You won't be able to resist the campy fun of this hit musical comedy with addictive and clever numbers range from big Broadway-style showstoppers to swing tunes that go straight to your head!

Starring: Mariah Bathe, Kara Coughenour, Jeremy Swofford, Markelle Taylor, Gari Galanski, Nolan Long, Shelbe McClain, Jolie Roberson, Carlos Vera, Cheyenne Reyes, Eric Miranda, Kiera Gill, Eden Helston, Julie Benevides, Princess Pellet, Salvador Vidaurri

Caligari - The Empty Space - 2018

Caligariposter.jpg

Adapted and reinvented from the 1920 silent film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, the stage production follows Francis, her quixotic betrothal to the beautiful Jane, the horrifying mystery of Dr. Caligari, and the subsequent murders that precede his path. In his fervor to learn and reveal the nature of the doctor and his somnambulist Cesare, Francis risks her life, her lover—and her mind.

CALIGARI cultivates stylized and expressionistic movement to capture the romanticism and extremes of the human experience, while exploring truthful and more naturalistic moments in connectivity and relationships. The forced perspective and shadow play of the film inspired CALIGARI’s theatrical environment; with an immersive audience experience, non-traditional stage lighting, and a dissonant dreamscape world.

The Gypsy Machine - Pop Up Theatre LA - 2015-16

The Gypsy Machine, by Meghan Brown, is an immersive experience where Molly and her boyfriend Graham, a year after her sister Natalie's disappearance, arrive at her last known location - a creepy apartment filled with strangely realistic mannequins, including one that looks suspiciously like Natalie.

The apartment is inhabited by the mysterious Patrick, whose intuition borders on the supernatural. As the night wears on, Molly is forced to face some terrifying realities...and begins to question who she can really trust.

The Gypsy Machine was performed at the Bunker Hill Towers in Downtown LA, the Bearded Lady's Mystic Museum in Burbank, CA, and at the Sutter Theater in San Francisco, CA

Palm Springs Happening - Pop Up Theatre LA - 2015

At the request of the Palm Springs Art Museum, Pop Up Theatre LA (then Epsilon Theater), created a "happening-style" performance experience for a fundraiser.

Housed at a home designed and filled with surreal art, The Palm Springs Happening featured a cat therapist, a newlywed couple sharing a body, a Barbie and Ken couple, a fluctuating aged man, and a fortune teller
